Postpartum & Perinatal Therapy

Support for pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood

This season of life is often described as meaningful, joyful, and life-changing. It can also feel overwhelming, disorienting, and much harder than you expected.

You may be pregnant and feeling anxious more than excited. You may have had your baby and feel unlike yourself, on edge, tearful, disconnected, or constantly worried. Or you may be adjusting to life with a young child and wondering why everything feels so heavy.

You don’t have to navigate this alone.

You may be experiencing:

  • constant anxiety or a sense of dread
  • an uneasiness about the future of your pregnancy
  • intrusive or unwanted thoughts
  • difficulty sleeping, even when you are tired and the baby is sleeping
  • irritability, overwhelm, or emotional exhaustion
  • a sense of disconnect from yourself, your baby, or your partner
  • self-criticism about doing things “the right way”

I work with people who:

  • are pregnant and experiencing anxiety or stress
  • have experienced fertility challenges or pregnancy loss
  • are in the postpartum period and not feeling like themselves
  • are adjusting to life with a new baby
  • are parenting young children and feeling overwhelmed

Together, we'll focus on:

  • reducing anxiety and mental overload
  • understanding and responding to intrusive thoughts
  • responding to stress in a more intentional way
  • building practical tools to stay more grounded day-to-day
  • navigating identity challenges that come with parenthood
  • developing a more compassionate way of relating to yourself

Virtual therapy works with your busy schedule.

All individual therapy sessions are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing on your computer, tablet, or phone. This allows me to connect with you, even with your busy schedule and any childcare responsibilities. You can connect from any location in Texas that is convenient for you. You’ll save time and money that would otherwise be spent traveling and waiting, and you can meet with me from the comfort of your own space.
